Where to meet Joe at Phuket Airport
Joe meets you outside the entrance, Door 5, with the car. (You already have the licence plate number in your booking confirmation email.) No counter queue, no transfer minibus to an off-site office. The exact meeting point is sent to you with your booking confirmation along with Joe's WhatsApp number.
What to bring
- Your driving licence (any country, any language — see why an IDL is recommended)
- The licence of any additional driver — additional drivers are free, no extra charge
- An International Driving Licence if you have one (recommended)
- The card you'll use for the deposit (or cash if you prefer)
- Your passport (a quick check, photocopy taken)
The paperwork
You can preview the rental agreement in full before you arrive. On the day, the agreement is signed at the car. Photos of the car are taken together — both sides — so you and Joe have the same record of its condition.
The handover
- Walk-around of the car together — any existing marks noted
- Fuel level confirmed and recorded
- Brief on the car — basic controls, where the spare wheel is, where the documents live
- Keys handed over
If your flight is delayed
Joe tracks the inbound flight. If your arrival shifts, the pickup shifts. You don't need to do anything — just message via the chat icon if you want to confirm.
Returning the car
Same place as pickup unless you arranged otherwise. Fuel level matched. Quick walk-around. Deposit released straight away on a clean handback.
